Fine snow speckles

I wanted to try out winter weathering, so I got a 1:72 scale Sd.Kfz.184 ‘Elefant’ tank. The process was a bit different but fun. Anyway when all was done I wanted to simulate extremely fine snow falling. So I lightly sprinkled white pigment. I am 100% on the fence if it worked or not. I just cant decide good move or not. The first two pictures are before then two after the pigments. Any opinion would help. Thanks.

I wish I could see it a little better on my phone, but it seems to work. Have you looked into marble dust powder?

Never heard of that before. What is it and where do you get it?

I think it’s giving you the right look. I don’t know that it would have the same effect at larger scales, or for heavier accumulation, but I like it here.
