Finemolds Japanese Type 95 Ha-Go, Manchuria - Done

I was given this semi-built, derelicted little kit a week or 2 ago and I was immediately endeared by it!
It looked… well… crap, having received several layers of paint, the standard 4-tone, plus a whitewash with hairspray method.
So after checking if all the parts were present, apart from a few minor ones they were, I chucked it into a bath of ovencleaner and started over…
It looked like this afterwards:

I then proceeded in reassembling it and making some parts from scratch, like headlights, handles and crowbar. A number of axles had to be drilled out an refitted as well.
While at it, I split the commanders hatch and added the details on the inside too. Finally I used the surplus driver from the Chi-Ha kit as a commander figure.

Next was the painting phase. I opted for a 3-tone as suggested by the Finemolds manual; Khaki, oliv drab and a mix of 80% brown, 10% blue and 10% black.
Colours turned out great, but the spraying itself went badly. Lots of splattering and overspray, no matter what I did.
So a lot of touching up was needed.
The decals are from the Chi-ha as used in the Manchurian campaign.
