I wanted a large temple in relation to the figures and the chariot, so as to demonstrate how small human impiety of war is in front of the divine. I don’t know if it came through in the final construction, but I tried.
It took me some time to discover the SP-gun and the soldiers
and then the scale/size of the temple becomes visible.
^^Ditto^. I didn’t see the SPG and soldiers at first either. Nice job.
Amazing size relationship illustration!
Welcome to the forum. What a great way to introduce yourself.
And I like the message you’re sending!
Wonderful piece- such imaginative staging and a use of eye catching color.
I can almost see it in the real world. Some large Orthodox Christian church/monastery in Eastern Europe (Poland, Ukraine, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria… name your nation), used by the enemy as a defensive position. Its sanctity, defiled by war.
Outstanding work.
Very cool , you put a lot of work into this , very busy , I could look at it for a long time only to find something I hadn’t seen earlier .
I am from Greece,thanks
Oh! I can see where you got the inspiration. Greek Orthodox. ![]()
