Just curious.

Not going to say no.

I do like this scheme.

That’s the best I’ve seen so far, even if it doesn’t have the mods. I was in San Diego last week but it was before the fires took off. I imagine different schemes could be offered. The mods are actually done in Englewood, CO.

Maybe ICM will release one and DRAW will do the decals. I’d like to see one in Cal Fire livery. I’ve already done an S2T and OV-10A in the Cal Fire livery. Though that SDFD livery looks very sharp

EDIT: Well shoot - there you go

That was when it was first rolled out.

Both images taken from the web.

Anyone make a1/35 conversion for this?

Unfortunately, no. It would be a very cool conversion though.

Getting one hell of a workout in LA right now. Need to add ECM to jam the drones! (CL-415 tagged one.Sure the drone got the shi-t-ty end of the stick but the Canadair was down for 3-4 days for repairs.)

Thought not, sadly. But thanks for the reply.

There was a guy on Facebook who was working on a CAD file to 3D print for it. His last work from SEP '24. Not sure where he is at with it.

There’s hope yet.

That’s cool. I would definitely buy one in 1/48. Just need the lengthened gear. Not sure what other differences there are.

Looking very promising.

Taking a trip to Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport soon. Three guesses as to why.

Cheap Flights

Mission accomplished. The first photo in the thread was from the interweb, Now I have dozens of my own. Turns out one of the pilots and I know some of the same SF guys.

Lots of differences from the 3D images above, but then this could be a newer version.

Something no other Blackhawk series helicopter has - the APU accumulator hand pump located here. It is usually in the cockpit. Cool, different, and easy to model.
