I hope they’re more accurate than their G-kazemat ![]()
Brilliant work Frank !!!
Amazing piece of work… Fantastic!!
Their resin items are nearly perfect, the plaster parts need a fair amount of treatment in some cases.
It’s not a tamiya kit for sure but have in mind it’s aftermarket after all… ..
What I meant was that the G-Kazemat kit is seriously wrong in almost all dimensions. I bought one last year but after finding scans of original drawings and measuring up a real one, I came to the conclusion that just about nothing from the kit is salvageable to make an accurate one ![]()
As you might imagine, I can’t tell anything on authenticity for their whole range… . although really nice!
As long as the Flaktower items are concerned (as I am deeply involved) they are top notch.
I wanted to do the armor cupolas myself, for example,…
but then got hands on their accurate and well made stuff incl. interior and decided to skip my plans.
So here you see a comparison between my research project and theirs, since there are only photobased researches possible. No plans or original items survived. I did my very best and theirs turned out to be - almost - similar in dimensions… .
I’d say that probably means you both got them as accurately as anyone is likely to get ![]()
