Looks like I-10 near El Paso, TX.
I hope the likes of Meng have got a kit planned of it…
That’s one big honkin’ truck!
I think it would more likely be Trumpeter since they already have a whole line of FMTV truck models and the TAK-4 suspension unit on their USMC Mk.23 truck. Thier FMTVs are actually quite good.
Oh Gawd… another complicated wrecker for my poor abused mind to build…
If Trumpeter does come out with a model of one, I hope it is the production version with the LTAS (Long-Term Armor Strategy) cab as opposed to the older LSAC (Low Signature Armored Cab) one above.
If not, you can always get one from our own Mike @MikeyBugs Goldberg.
i have thier 2 1/2 and the 5 ton but i want to get the upgrade sets for them from legend
@HeavyArty Gino, do you think the FMTV A2 added a hood and nose to move the front wheels and front axle out from under the armored cab for better IED, mine, and frontal crash survivability?
The Legend Update set is nice. I used it on my M1088 Tractor…
…and on the M1085 PATRIOT ECS truck above.
Yes, and the longer wheelbase makes them more stable.
I just hope they are still available
