a new summer-project
to buil this small armoured car I’m start from BA 20 Maquette and MSD wheels set
turret conical material is necessary…
searching correct shape
final selection good corect shape (yes!)
armour layout
first fit!
Definitely following this with interest. Scratch-building is a scary thing for me, trying to get a straight-cornered rectangle out of a plastic board (or two identical pieces for that matter) seems mission impossible for me.
Nice work
to mede two identical part you can glue the parts togheter with a little drop of istantaneat glue
and use files to give same shape.
if you want good straight-cornered yuo simply cut every part at 45° and glue it
Turret bolts added, and running board is made by M13 mudguards
Painting revels some disalignment and an extra job needs to finish it correctly
painting operation is upgraded
Dear Sir
model is finish.
now it is on the display cabinet.
comments are welcome
That’s a lovely conversion of a not often seen vehicle! Nicely done!
Excellent work- the scratch-building is impressive on its own but I have to commend your paint-work and finishing too, especially the color chipping.
Great work. It looks as if it drove through a sandstorm
the model is set in Congo 1961 in prohibitive conditions
