Hello guys!
Here’s my try on Foreart Ukrainian Himars. Built OOB, only addition are Scale-X wheels (non weighted type). Overall, I’m kinda happy how it turned out. Hope you like it!

Superb!
Awesome…museum showpiece!
Why not enter your photos for a modeling magazine? I believe that the publishers will pay for submissions (you will have to ask which modeling magazines do).
Thanks guys for your kind words, it means a lot! As for magazines… I don’t think that my works are at that level yet, still have a lot to learn…
Judging from the photos you posted I would say that they are on the magazine level.
Dudek, is that you? You’ve been awfully quiet for quite some time now.
How is the Foreart kit? Great stuff my man… hope to see it live somewhere, somehow. ![]()
Mario
Yo Maki! Yup, it’s me ![]()
Well, I didn’t have any experience with Foreart before this adventure, but if they continue to produce kits like this one… well, they will have a die-hard fan in me! Everything went beautiful, minimal cleanup, instructions clear and logical. Plastic a little bit on the soft side, but with some extra care no issues to report.
I plan to take it on next competitions in Karlovac and Zagreb…
Gimme a call, rumor has it that you are dyin’ to pay a coffee… ![]()
The build looks awesome.
You mentioned unweighted tires, any reason you picked that over weighted? Just curious on the choice.
Very simple… I ordered and paid for weighted (they were listed as “In stock”), and after almost two months of asking where the hell are they and getting answers like “We’ll get them tomorrow”, “They are on the way to our warehouse” and finally “Scale-X doesn’t produce them anymore” I had to settle for this ones…
Guess they’ll never see my orders again ![]()
That is a good reason.
Certainly magazine worthy if you chose that route. The weathering is spot on. I’ve built several of these, with absolutely no weathering whatsoever, because that’s what’s required. I wrote up a little build review with some tips a while back but never posted it. I’ll post it in another so as not to step on yours.
Just post it brother, don’t worry about it.
This is an awesome build. I’m building a 1/72 version. I assumr this one is 1/35?
Yes, 1/35
