Wow… thanks guys for the outpouring of support since posting this. I very much appreciate the help and it definitely makes me secure in knowing I can extend the level of storage and performance for the forums/sites so we can keep growing.

The donation links are up at the top of the site under the “Want to Help?” area.

Thanks again for your help. I was so happy when after many hours the forum came back alive and worked without issue with the new OS upgrade. I was sure I was going to screw something up on that front. So far the only bad side effect was the 4000+ emails I got from our mail sending company when the old instance was trying to send emails but didn’t have the right IP address anymore to do that.

Cheers,
Jim

Hi Albert,
Unfortunately if those posts were on Thursday-Friday they were lost in the roll-back to the Thursday (early morning) backup. The topic should auto-regenerate though so new comments will certainly be possible.

Same as above happened to me yesterday morning. A couple of minutes after several attempts to log in I received a call from “Microsoft” - a call-center obviously in India. I’m pretty sure the real Microsoft doesn’t contact individual customers. From past experience I knew the guy was going to offer on-line tech assistance, install mal-ware, and charge an exorbitant price. I “politely” hung up on him.
Hmmm…any corelation between the two incidents - or am I just being paranoid? :worried::exploding_head: :open_mouth:
 :canada:

Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you! :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
