In Wadena MN. I believe the markings are from the California NG.
Nice; Grey Desert MERDC camouflage.
Here’s some more CA NG Pattons during training at Ft. Irwin, Ca.
LUCY! YOU GOT SOME 'SPLAINING TO DO…
This one is from the 72nd Armor Regiment of the US Army in South Korea.
Second pic has the TELFARE device mounted.
I’m now thinking about this kit…
Yes, 40th ID, 2nd Btn 185th Armor… CA Army National Guard.
This looks like Camp Roberts, but could be Camp San Luis Obispo… tons of cows running around that place… both are in cattle country in the central part of the state
Digging the hole to bury it I suppose. To bloated for steaks, so sad.
I always liked the M48A5. Steering wheel and all.
Plain M60 had the wheel also.
Perhaps even Fort Hunter-Liggett.
Possibly… but I don’t recall ever coming across any cattle at Hunter-Liggett any of the times I was there. Lots of wildlife there, but no immediate nearby cattle areas. Plus not too much flat open area at FHL like in the photo. A lot more hilly at FHL.
