Steam engine trivia:
Towing a steam engine is complicated, the rods connecting the wheels with the pistons in the steam cylinders must be disconnected to avoid pumping up pressure in the steam boiler.
The steam pipes could be disconnected to let the pressure escape BUT the steam cylinders also needs lubrication so the easiest way is to disconnect the rods.
The other option is to load the whole steam engine on a flatbed if the height fits in the allowed load profile.

Frenchie, you are awesome!!!
I have a love-hate relationship with those postcards of gigantic fruits and vegetables and critters on Railroad cars. They’re too cool but they’re also so hokey. But I can’t get enough of them!
Dead whale rail! An idea for freelance railroad company.
“You won’t blubber about our service!”
The gauntlets been dropped. Come on guys, you’re all funnier and cleverer than I am. Let’s see what you come up with?
How about, “Never mind the waste. We made corsets out of his baleen!”
Never mind the stink, some of it will be turned into fine perfume.
How many jeep kits would it take to do that first picture in 1/35th? ? Ha ha Wayne
