Fuel trailers, early ODS

On a related topic, does anyone know if the M365 dolly was used during ODS?

I can certainly see its benifits, moving empy trailers around etc.

No luck on the web,so?

The good news is that they’re easy to scratch build. I found drawings of a military one somewhere. Probably not an M365 but they’re all pretty much the same - even modern ones. I built two of them.

I was looking at the Hobby Link dolly, wondering if it was used during ODS.

I’d like to see e.g. a five-ton pulling an M172A1 trailer using a dolly.

(and I have several 5-tons to build) :grinning:

First prints by Hobby Link. It looks really nice.

It surely does. I’ve booked mine, plus the M127 and the dolly trailer with Wanamaker.

Wait a minute. That isnt that horrible “ribbing” effect from 3D printing going along the tank sides, is it?

Sadly; that’s what it is. Nothing some Mr. FInishing Primer and wet sanding can’t fix…

Is that deficiency down to the printers capabilities or what?
