the AEW variant! very nice!!!
Mine arrived today! I have the Airfix ASW Gannet and will be assessing the two kits side by side, but first impressions are all good. Initially it looks great. The moulding looks pretty sharp and some nice detail on the instruments and dials. The little PE set is a nice touch as is the pre-cut masking. The recessed panel line are’t too deep, but I don’t think that will be a problem. It would have been good to see some more of the rivet marks, I’ll look at more reference pictures and see how I feel when I come to build it as to whether I put some rivet detail on.
