Gaz Tiger antenna?

Hi all
Meng gives a lot of antennas to add to the Tiger. I haven’t seen any pictures with antennas so far especially of the Tiger with the 3 tone camo proposed by Meng.
I’ve browsed a number of walkarounds but none of them show the antennas probably because they display vehicles at exhibition.
Could anybody share pictures of a Tiger with antenna(s) and if the wiring?
TIA

Olivier

Hi Olivier,

I built the Meng GAZ tigr a while back and had the same thoughts. I sieved through the web trying to find the wiring of the forest of antennas. I came to a realization, -there is not a single radio station in the “full” interior. I left the antennas in the box

Its otherwise a lovely kit.

Thank you H.P. So there is nothing such the way Meng describes it.
It does not with the wiring. Could it run through the rails over the cabin?

Ingvar, I guess I’ll end making the same choice as yours.

Another antenna setup :

On a side note, Live Resin has released the jammer often seen on the top :

Talking about jammers, I’ve just came across these :

The first two may be from South Ossetia (2008)

I think all of these images from Syria show Tiger-M. As far as I know, Olivier builds Meng’s Tiger vol1. and I don’t think the jammers were added for that version.

I think the antennae on the South Ossetia photo Frenchy posted could be a way to go.

Hi Mario

I’m no expert, but AFAIK the Tiger-M version has a distinctive bulge on the engine hood because of its new engine. The bulge is visibly missing in the pics I’ve posted…

Tiger-M

Correct, bulge on the hood for the new engine. Also smoke dischargers on the roof sides and air filter barrels above the rear doors. I think those were not installed on original Tiger version.

But yes, you are correct, there are two photos of the original Tiger with the jammer. Thanks for those.

Mario

Excellent pictures H.P. as usual
I can’t believe that the antennas cables run through the side windows
Considering Meng molded the windows with the cabin I think I have no other option than not using the antennas.
At least one of the pics show the antennas configuration proposed by Meng.
