Hi,
As much as I like Miniart’s detail, I thoroughly dislike not having a plastic alternative to all of the PE that is in their kits. Precision is great and all, but after seeing all of that metal it makes me want to pass and go with a less detailed (so-called) Opel Blitz kit.
That is to say, I bought a couple of Lanmo engine kits for my 234’s along with Eduard tool kits to replace the aforementioned PE for the same kit.
Oh well…

I understand your comments all to well but I cannot fault MiniArt for using photoetch as modellers demand it in todays products and whine when not included. I also will not fault the lack of alternative plastic parts as photoetch is used for a specific reason. I am aware how some modellers feel about photoetch and that is why I warn in reviews if a lot of small elements are present.

Thank you. I do not hate PE, but Miniart has a tendency to go a bit overboard with it.
