Back in the '80’s they kept you at the training Camps-but one of the Camps had the standard GI places.

I was at Ferris barracks in Erlangen, but if I remember correctly, Graf had three training areas, but I don’t remember their names now.

Wait, what?!? In Augsburg 1987, we had a Riegele bier machine in the barracks with bottles at 1DM apiece, somewhere between $.33 and $.50 at the time. A litre at Oktoberfest Munchen might’ve been 2 or 3DM but many of the brain cells I stored that memory in are faulty from bier consumption.

They give a beer price update for Oktoberfest. This year the Liter will be up to 15 Euros! That´s why I don´t go to Oktoberfest.

No, They were in Hohenfels. At that time the 3rd Infantry Division had an Infantry brigade in Vilseck. At Rose Barracks. I dont know what happened after that I retired from their in 95.
