A stunning build of the rescue of a German pilot from the Channel from modeller Toni Toni. The Schneider racing seaplanes of the 1920s and the graceful Spitfire were designed by R J Mitchell. However, beauty is as beauty does, and the Walrus did its job in a magnificent manner. To men bobbing around in the sea, it was more a thing of beauty than the other two.

Really nice! … However, that distracting placard could be redone and moved down lower on the base. IMHO

Yes, it tells a story with drama. I must admit, I’m not sure about the reference to the Walrus in the introduction. The Walrus was an RAF seaplane, but it’s not in the diorama. Maybe I’m missing something. Either way, the dio gets across the angry sea nicely.
