Here we take a look at the German Panther G - Late Version release from Hobby Boss in 1/35th scale.
I can see a mix of features here. The all steel wheeled Panthers were produced before November ‘44 and thus most if not all of them had standard mantle without chin and no crew heather (the elevated air intake) in the back. Also, the vertically ribbed rear container are exclusive from MNH in 1945. Looking at the parts, apparently the driver roof has no reinforcement as well ,also a fault from Dragon, but corrected by Takom. We should have all the dimensions in order to have a final veredict.
That Britmodeller freeloader yaps about the kit having a ‘partial’ interior instead of an incomplete full interior. Never take that website seriously. It is paid for by greedy merchants
The fire wall is missing but the turret interior is complete.
There is a transmission BUT no seats!!! And NO radio!!!
All in all a wasted opportunity for a great kit
The wheels are not too good on this kit, they are soft and lack detail. Size appears right, so I guess some ‘mud’ would sort out the lack of crispness.
