Finally military service tires that are properly inflated!

Most sagged wheels are very overdone.
There needs to be a little bit of compression to allow the corner (shoulder??) between the sidewalls and the running surface to contact the ground.
Most tires have bulging tread surface, can’t lay a straight edge across the tire, and this bulge gets pressed flat and the edges/corners touch the road.
There will also be a faint bulge to the sidewall (but nowhere close to what some model builders want to show).
Having said that I still think the unbulged tires are closer to the visual impression of the real thing than the exaggerated bulges on many resin tires.

Seems that this set is more for when the outriggers are deployed and not in travel mode where the weight would come into play.

That’s an interesting factoid. DEF makes excellent products, but I wish they wouldn’t sag the tires so much. An NCO would be all in a driver’s sh!t for having such bulges on-road.

The aged old fight in modeling. If you make correct in scale most won’t notice and spend the money on it. If you over exaggerate more people can see it and spend money on it.
