SOL Model released a new set of Sd.kfz.250/3 Crew in both 1/35 and 1/16 scales.
Nice look to them but I had hoped for radio operator poses in 1/16th, maybe another release will provide those. I’m waiting for the stowage set from SOL for this to hit our shores in the UK.
A radio operator for the Sd.Kfz. 250/3 in 1/16 scale is being released by Jason Studio (along with a really good looking stowage set and the same figure seen above that Sol is releasing, the one hanging onto the outside of the vehicle).

The Y-belt for the African Corps is incorrect, as is the way it’s attached to the infantry tunic. For some reason, the machine gunner is carrying an entrenching shovel and a Mauser rifle pouch. And all the ammunition is European-style, not African. Even the socks aren’t pulled down over the boots correctly. The infantrymen’s belts are incorrect—even considering that they’re made of leather.
