"Get to the Elbe" Refugees in May 1945

Got the truck almost done. The putty bits were done way back when I was first learning about rolling putty so they look a bit clunky. But removing them to be replaced would’ve damaged the truck bed too much. Not worth it to me.
I have always liked the Ford trucks,

Thanks for looking,

I figured I would post pics of the human cargo before they got squeezed into the bed of the truck.

These were all done years ago and have lived in a tupperware ever since. Dusted of and posted for your perusal. All have been converted from various company products like Tamiya,MB,Miniart,Dragon Alpine and Preiser.
Happy to answer any queries about how they got this way,

Some great work to get those figures with the poses they now have and lots of different dynamics. Great painting as usual … The duster was all it needed :+1:

I will need more refugees so I am taking up the “Preiser Challenge” again. I found 2 more I can use from my rapidly dwindling supply. Straight from the box they look as such:

It has been said these figs in 1/35 look clunky. I think that is because they just enlarged their HO scale people when they did these.

I haven’t forgotten the “Three Amigos” in the cab. I was wondering just the other day if this was ever coming out. Glad to see you’ve renewed the project. Looking forward to it

Thanks man. I was happy to see the 3 amigos were not deleted from the old Photobucket fiasco and can be seen on the link above.

Haven’t seen a update in a long time, hope everything is ok.
