Guess what I got for Christmas

So did I tell you that I love my Mom? So my Mother who is now in her mid 70s got me an airbrush kit. I’ve always wanted one but never got around to buying one. Part of the reason for not getting one, was that I really didn’t know a whole lot about how to use them. Sure, I’ve seen some award winning models that were painted by airbrush, but I always felt that I can pretty much get the desired outcome with hand painting, (although there were times when I thought that an airbrush might work better than paint brushes for certain jobs). So for the last couple of days I’ve been surfing YouTube on various tutorials, and I’m almost ready to give it a try.

So what did she get me? I’ve never heard of the name before but it’s called Morovan. And it comes with a tiny air compressor. (That was the other thing I didn’t understand. I always thought you needed a real air compressor, you know, the kind you can fill up tires or run air tools with. And that kinda kept me from investing in an airbrush)

It looks to be very similar to the Spraygunner No Name airbrush I bought. The few times I have used it, it worked as needed. You don’t necessarily need a big set up like what you described. Pro/Cons to each setup but it should be fine for most of your needs especially starting out.
Now go have fun and post pics of your results and any questions you have.

Look what she has gone and done! Now you will be forced to learn how to use it so you can show her that her gift was appreciated. Moms.
