So, for the greater modelling good, those interested in how to tackle this should perhaps refer themselves to the Blog my modelling mate - Pete Smith runs:
You may wish to trawl back and see how he first tackled it, then revised it in light of more info. His site is easy enough to navigate; his project withered a bit on the vine, but I’m sure those interested can follow as they see fit.
I don’t recall he ever wound it all up - but then - we often get distracted along the way in a project - or is that just me?
Anyway, hopefully those interested enough will find what they want.
You might be able to find someone who wants to build a WMIK Defender with the 40 mm GMG. They can purchase the kit with the Milan launcher and give it to you, and use the Live Resin GMG. The Milan mount is different on the Warrior, but that’s pretty minor.
That long stowage box in the lower left of the photo is available in the HobbyBoss Land Rover WMIK w/ Milan kit. Extra rounds can be found in the HobbyBoss French VBL Milan kit.
That is actually two boxes, as the crews have two launch posts, one fitted to turret gunners position, and the other for dismount, the boxes/ cases , are the night sights, called MIRA, a thermal sight that fits on top of the normal unit.
Case in picture, bottom right, sight on top of post.
