H39 Beutepanzer ready for paint

Calling the build stage done on this one. It’s the Tamiya H39 in 1/35 built mostly out of the box. I’ve added some battle damage to the fenders and cast hull texture with Diluted Tamiya grey putty and lacquer thinner. The coax is a brass barrel from my spares box. I’ve also added some 3D printed parts I downloaded from Cults. 1/12 scale castle nuts scaled down to 1/35 by AA24KitUpgrades. German Antenna mount and rear storage box by Libellule02 and a notek light by Guardsparts. Now to tear it down for painting. The running gear is held on by gravity and the tracks open on one end. Track skid and some other parts are blue tacked to the hull for an easy disassembly.

Looking good- the cast texture especially. What sort of paint job are you planning?

Hey Karl, It’ll be a bog standard 3 tone seen in Normandy.
