So the original release had 6 bolts didn’t it?
Yes, that was one of the major issues with the kit.
Ah cool. At least they’ve listened to the feedback.
Now, if we could get them to correct the nose wheel leg on their FG1/2 and the bomb bay doors on the Mossie that would be great!
If I want plastic for Christmas, birthday, whatever; I have to get it myself. At least I get what I want.

You’ll like it, says the designer…
It’s worth getting the driver’s cockpit set too, as that hatch is a big old hole that isn’t covered by the turret!
Lol… I know who to go to if there are issues then Tom…I don’t need to worry about the cab, when I do it, that will be closed down as I’m going to do it going over a knife edge as per Bovi tank circuit.
I cannot in good conscience get any more model related items until I build more shelves, an addition to the house, or donate about 500 kits.
So instead of getting a Red Ryder BB Gun, we got other necessities instead.
I bought this for my wife. It’s her fourth gun:
She got me these bullets on our trip to the Ozarks last month. We stopped in Tulsa just to get them:
I got this for myself:
And a match grade barrel is on its way to my house.
Now we’re waiting for the range to call us. A two hour wait!
I just need to purchase an 80% FCU for the SIG and my wife will have one of her own, in 9mm.
Sweet!
Jim
Nice!
Judging from the grip it looks like the piece gets a lot of use.
Now that I’ve started loading 9mm in addition to .38 Special and .357 Magnum, it’ll get a lot more use. And my .45 reloading die is on the way. Bought some large pistol primers today as well. As soon as my .45 HAP bullets arrive this one will be back in the rotation as well:
Austin is cute!! Mine will be in desert paint…
Santa is making a late delivery today, all the way from Andy’s. Border Model’s full interior with crew Stug and finally ! The vinyl mantlet cover for my AFV Centurion. I get that mounted and painted and I’ll have one whole kit completed for 2022 !
Sill waiting for him to visit Detroit & Michigan Toy Soldier for some books and a couple of kits.
I like the desert scheme also, but I am partial to green ambulances. I’ll probably go with green.
Santa was good to me. I got the Meng ZSU 23-4 Shilka kit and the Trumpy FROG-7 kits.
Stuff finally came in. All the aftermarket bits are for the Mk.I, which will be converted to the Mustang prototype. The rectangle-tread wheels are for my AM P-51A kit.
Also grabbed a spare fuselage sprue since chances are excellent I’ll make a fatal mistake at some point while cutting up/scratchbuilding the radiator scoop.
Master Yoda says you want to go the wrong way…
