The scale is 1/35 and it is based on modifying an existing model 20’ container.
What you see above is as far as I have currently gotten.
These containers are to be used with my 1/35th HEMTT and my Marine Mark xx 8x8.
Super detailed Italeri HEMTT LHS (pre-Trumpeter)
with added resin engine and scratch built CHU.

Other than the original 20 foot container kit (Italeri I think) the rest of my reefer is all scratch built from Evergreen plastic sheet. (the generator, refrigeration unit, structural framing and ladder.)
I had no plans to guide me but only photographs. Instead I used the artist’s talent for judging the size proportions between the various objects while also starting with the given, known overall dimensions of the container itself.
I could have easily built the newer style reefer with the integrated “flatrack” lift structure but I wanted to give my CHU (Container Handling Unit) . . .
