Help on the Full Width Mine Plough

Who can help?
I’m currently working on a M60A1 with ERA blocks from the first Gulf War, but I really like to mount the Full Width Mine Plough on it, which calls for a donor kit of an M1 Abrams with such a Plough, because the old Quatermaster set, is quite hard to get hold of.
I really need some pictures of the mounting of the plough, because the plough I have, does not fit my M60A1 at all.
Anyone have anything on this?
Thank you in advance.
Jacob

I’ll let you know from my experience with grafting the TWMP from the Tamiya M1A1 to the Tamiya M60A1 ERA. the plow arms do not align with the front of the lower hull. It’ is a bit of a tricky process to get it all to align. But don’t let that discourage you…

I made it work as best i could and I’m proud of that.

The tracks are AFV CLub T-142 tracks and not shown is a 3D printed CLAMS Lane Marker from @MikeyBugs

Find the Trumpeter 5 in 1 abrams, it goes really cheap on some sites (20$ or less)

Google this order if you want to find it or I can mail it to you

Yes, I know that there are a few on eBay, but they are in the US, which means around 40-50$ in postage+ around another 20$ in custom, and that is simply way too much for me.
But thanks for your help :+1:

yeah; well? I was not aware you were not in the US… Still, like Nikos mentioned, the Trumpeter 5-in-1 Abrams kit should get you the plow.

I am curious to see how the main Truss is fitted on the M60 hull.

The IDF used a different mount to the US one.

Yeah; well, i mean the frame where the plow mounts into. I know that Elta Systems (israel) makes the TWMP typically used on the M60 and M1, along with other tanks. Thge new-Gen mine plow you see on the M1150 and on the Trojan is made by Pearson Engineering (UK).

No, there is a frame

AHA! I think the fitting problem lays in the M60 adaptors between the hull and the mounting plate of the plough, which are shown in the last drawing. I’ll be looking into this tomorrow.

TA-DAA!
Hopefully these will do the trick.
Not a 100% look alike, but close enough, since they’re gonna be tucked away behind the mounting plate.
