Hi guys
I recently grabbed RFM’s kit 5004 from Sprue Bros when they had a weekend sale. I’ll build one of the A2 TUSK variants, & then subsequently use the other TUSK bits & pieces on other kits (poss RFM) to build the full suite.
My question: which A1 variant was fitted with TUSK? Just a regular A1 or should I be looking at the A1 AIM?

Most of the M1A1s by the time they started wearing TUSK ((late '03 - early '04) were AIMs, which are rebuilt to zero hour (basically new) tanks. There may have been a few older M1A1 still hanging around though. So you are good either way.

TUSK fitment to the M1A2 SEP is the original SEP rather than v2?

Correct, V2s were fielded after we left Iraq and have not been in combat where they would wear TUSK,
