I sprayed 1500 black a lil to heavy onto a gun barrel , it flooded somewhat , i knocked it down with some lacquer , it smoothed it out , but its not perfect and I need to sand it out . How long should I wait to sand?
Overnight would probably be safe.

Is it a metal barrel? If so, you could just set it in a tub of thinner overnight to soak off all of the paint. (Not sure this would be a good idea with a plastic or resin barrel, but you could try with some sprue first.)
Ty, I wiped most of the wanky spray off smooth with Laquer thinner off the metal barrel
