AFAIK; the Ukrainian HIMARS are still painted in 383 CARC Green, maybe with a cross symbol on them.
Oh yeah! Totally forgot the “Cheshire Cat” paint on some of them. I thought it was only on the FMTVs we sent out.
Yes, I’ve seen various photos of the ‘smiley face’ HIMARS. I guess it does look like the Cheshire cat!
I assume the ‘29’ is simply the vehicle number …

Yup, gotta love the Cheshire Cat grin. I plan on building an M142 HIMARS with the grin.
29 is the bridge classification weight of the vehicle.

Thanks for the clarification on the ‘29’.
While most modellers tend to use acrylics these days,
I still prefer enamels, so am wondering whether either
Humbrol or Revell provide a reasonable match for the
383 CARC Green colour.

Sorry, I have no clue. I don’t use either brand. Tamiya makes the color (NATO Green) in their Lacquer spray and bottles.
