I’m mostly an armor builder, but I do make the occasional excursion to other things, including 1/350 ships.
HMS Sutherland visited my hometown of Rotterdam (see pics) and seeing things in real life up close and personal usually inspires me to want to build a model of it.
I know Trumpeter does a series of 1/350 Type 23 frigates, namely Kent, Westminster, Montrose and Monmouth. Would any of these be good as a base for Sutherland? I know that if I want to build her as she is today, the Harpoon launchers need to go. But what does that area look like now? Anything else that needs to be done?
