I haven’t brought any Hobbylink kits, but they do an amazing job based on their images.
Hobbylink are great! very fragile. I assembled the Roam plow D-8. The swing was distorted and tried to warm and bend,it broke. I repaired by building a new arm. Now that i know what type of glue to use I just may look into the Michigan loader.
I’ve built several of their kits and every one had warped parts. They do include extras of many of the smaller parts but it’s usually the big ones that are warped. A few have been relatively easy to fix but most have required a lot of work involving thin relief cuts in strategic places, bending and gluing. As long as the glue holds, things will be good. Other issues are that some of the resin isn’t fully cured as it’s overly soft and sticky. A little time under a UV cure light seems to help but is does make the piece very fragile. For what you get, I think they are over-priced but they do offer stuff you can’t get anywhere else.
