I think it looks quite good. Rust, ordinary grime, moss and algae will bring it all together. Looking forward to see the progress.

First time trying panel lining on one of my models; not great result, likely due to the rough Vallejo primer and the AK crackling medium in some places. Failing is learning… and most will be covered by rust anyway. A flat coat and rust we go!
I’m also quite happy with the AK crackling medium on my side mirrors: a drop and the glass looks broken!

The proverbial “less is more” was thrown out the window against my will… I completely surrendered to the gods of rust. Dark rust layer done using Vallejo Environment texture; other tones coming!

I’m making progress on the rusting of the car. It’s a long process, and what you see on the pictures below is the result of ~8 hours of work; I think the process still needs 15 to 20 hours before it’s complete.
Since I’m testing techniques and products as I move forward, there might be some differences showing here and there between panels.

I’m getting closer to the finish line!
I didn’t know what to use as a base, so I cut a piece of 2x4 that was getting bored in the garage and gave it a purpose using cheap acrylic black paint.
The car still needs some final touches of rust, and I want to add rust streaks to the letters in the title.

Thank you Ingvar, much appreciated! It’s not all glued together yet since the car needs some final weathering touches. There also are accessories waiting ready in a small container.
I just need ~5 extra hours, but those are hard to find lately!

Oh the itsy bitsy Honda went up the water spout. Down came the rain and rusted the Honda out. Out came the sun and dried up all the rain but the itsy bitsy Honda was rusted out again.

Kit is done! I’m very happy with how it turned out. The rust may not stand close scrutiny since i tested a few different things all over the model, but i believe the result is realistic enough.
The roof was a lot of fun to make, with a mix of acrylic, pencils, pigments, and enamels. It seems thay using isopropyl alcohol to fix pigments on top of acrylic created the crackling pattern, which was a good surprise.
For the dusty effect on the windows, I used a little bit of ocre oil paint that I thinned directly on the glass (like a dot filter) and then gently tapped the surface with a dry #4 brush.
I now have to finish the base. I hope to have this project done this week.

Okay, so I’m just done with this project. The car was glued with PVA and then Vallejo tuft was added around the wheels and the body. I brushed ocre pigment to give it some dust and remove the sheen from this kind of grass material.
I added some accessories I had prepared, some from a couple of MiniArt kits (toolbox #1 and garden tools), as well as a couple of 3d-printed tin cans from MiniWar. The rusty look was given using a mix of acrylic and watercolor pencils.
I added a flower: ground hops on a piece of wire, and the leaves were made with dry larch needles. I find the stem too thick, unfortunately, but I thought the idea was cool.
I also used ground hops to mimic dry leaves everywhere on the vignette, including on the car, although quite sparingly.
