I think it looks quite good. Rust, ordinary grime, moss and algae will bring it all together. Looking forward to see the progress.
First time trying panel lining on one of my models; not great result, likely due to the rough Vallejo primer and the AK crackling medium in some places. Failing is learning… and most will be covered by rust anyway. A flat coat and rust we go!
I’m also quite happy with the AK crackling medium on my side mirrors: a drop and the glass looks broken!
The proverbial “less is more” was thrown out the window against my will… I completely surrendered to the gods of rust. Dark rust layer done using Vallejo Environment texture; other tones coming!
Looking great, I do not think that will “buff out” That car is beyond salvage ![]()
I’m making progress on the rusting of the car. It’s a long process, and what you see on the pictures below is the result of ~8 hours of work; I think the process still needs 15 to 20 hours before it’s complete.
Since I’m testing techniques and products as I move forward, there might be some differences showing here and there between panels.
