Here’s some photos from the Hornby experience in Margate last week. For those who don’t know, Hornby owns most of the old British “boys toys” manufacturers, the Hornby Dublo trains (obviously), but also Corgi, Airfix, Scalelectric and in addition Pocher. Of course, all the production now takes place in China, but the design and development is done in Margate. Hopefully something for everyone! Entrance is £5 (£2.50 for old gits like me) and I would say it was worth it.

For those who remember Rivarossi and Lima, model train makers, I believe Hornby bought them up many years ago. There were some of their products (NOS) for sale in the shop. They were very high quality in their day.
