Do Tamiya HG and Iwata airbrushes used the same hose? I currently use a Tamiya and am looking to buy an Iwata HP-CS.

Yes they do. And may I suggest you buy a quick disconnect for both of your airbrushes. This allows quick airbrush change on one hose and make life so much easier.
As long as they have a common screw size, Iwata makes a moisture trap that connects directly between the hose and the airbrush. It has a purge button to release remaining air from the air tank (after turning off the compressor) and blows out any moisture at the same time.
