How many links are there in each later model (D 640 A) Leopard 1 track?
I Googled your question and came up with the answer of 84 on each side for Leopard 1

Be aware that the 1:1 numbers may need to be adjusted on a model.
With 84 links it only takes a size error of 1% to add or remove almost a whole link.
A 1% error is an error in the second decimal, divide the 1:1 size by 35 and then round
up or down the third decimal and the track length will be “off” by nearly one link.

True their usually just starting points of refrence,glueing indies together to tight can alter your calculations.
