I’m currently building several 1/48 Japanese,USA aircraft from WW2 that have full or partial NMF and need any help on how to approach weathering them. I’ve never tried weathering a NMF model so any and all advice or suggestions esp how to make the metal look dull from oxidation and sun damage with oils would be most appreciated thanks.

Not really weathering, but I do a bit of post shading with Tamiya clear smoke

NMF is a tough one. You’ll have to try techniques and see what works for you.
I’d highly recommend this video as a starting point. The flat clear over a gloss clear and then scratched off is brilliant.
