The title says it. Is the LP CROWS more widespread used compared with M153?

It is only used on the M1 Abrams. The CROWS is the common system. Outside US it is called an RS4. More info here: Remote Weapon Systems - KONGSBERG - an international technology group

Off course there is exeptions

Thanks Erik. My question was how many M1 A2 tanks are equipped with the LP model and how many have the M153 attached.

The M1A2 SEP v3 (latest version) is fitted with the LP CROWS. All the force is eventually transitioning to M1A2 SEP v3 if they have not done so by now already.

I Guess you have to try to do the math yourself, Herman. The number of CROWS LP produced is classified.

Then I have to build a M1A2 SEP v2 with M153 for my Combined Resolve series. Thanks Erik.
