Humbrol 155 is labelled as ‘Olive Drab’, but could it be used as a colour for current-day British armour. If not, is there a recommended mix using Humbrol/Revell paints? Photos suggest that the colour on the actual vehicles is noticeably darker than the earlier IRR Green. I am aware that many modellers opt for Tamiya XF-67, but as I prefer to use enamels, I need to find a suitable match for this current colour.

I’ve used 163 in the past, found it a good match for the old green used with the black cammo. Not sure what the current green is though and how it compares.
I go past a TA barracks on my way to work everyday and the trucks and Land Rovers parked up in there are very faded. No two look alike!

Humbrol 155 was a great colour for British tanks
Back in the day. The Humbrol 155 now is not the same shade as the original and not the same consistency.
This is my Accurate Armour 1/35 17pdr SPG

Humbrol 155 is good for late Cold War/post Cold War US Olive Drab. At least the current enamel shade is. The Acrylic that I have is much closer to the US WWII shade. But beyond that I can’t say if it matches any UK colors.
