Has anybody used this website before to make any purchases?

I have bought a huge amount of merchandise from them over the past five years. Kits, PE, resin, tools, you name it. They have an unbelievably huge inventory. They are totally legit and customer service is prompt, personal, and comprehensive. I would recommend them.

Have you bought anything since February 2022? I used them before but I didn’t think they were still an option.

I just placed an order with them, no issues. They are waiting on some pre-order stuff, so hasn’t shipped yet. But I’ve also ordered from other Russian vendors since Feb 2022 with no issues.

I haven’t paid yet while the order is put together (they don’t send an invoice until the order is ready to ship), but the last time I ordered it was via Paypal, no issues. When I look at my current order in my personal page, it says under “Payment Method” Paypal. I just ordered from Quinta Studios as well about two months ago, they are in Russia and accept Paypal too. No issues whatsoever with payment or delivery.

Huh. They must have third-party Paypal accounts because PP no longer deals with Russian accounts.

Quinta’s payment went to a Kazakhstan email address so they have obviously set up accounts there.

Hi Kurt! Yes I have bought from them since then. All went perfectly. They have 3rd party PayPal and shipping methods.

OK then.

I noticed that there is an i-modelist.com and an i-modelist.ru. I think my previous orders were with the latter. Also, on the .ru site you need to search with cyrillic letters, even for something like “T-62”.

Thanks for the feedback! I just found that site looking fot quinta studio’s decals and they seem to be a lot cheaper than any other site. I’m at the check out now… what shipping do i use for the US or does the manager have to give me a call first, which i find “different”?

I think it’s the second or third option that mentions post outside Russia. The “call” is through email and can help to know the shipping total. Unless selecting wrong type it’s not cheap for a kit.

I would probably use HobbyNut or Sprue Brothers for Quinta products in the US but that’s just me.
