I recently painted the markings on my Spcial Hobby 1/32 Westland whirlwind

Painted-on markings are my thing and this is my most recent model. I did intend to paint the artwork as well but after many attempts and trying to get the checks on the fin bullet aligned correctly and weeding the script on the “Bellows Argentina No2” and the cloverleaf with harp I decided that I would give them a miss as I wanted the model finished for a show early in September.

Anyway, the markings are all painted on, and a description of how it was done is in the photos:

A lot of work but the result speak for itself, that being excellent. I just need to know how you cut clean perfect circles or are you using a hole-punch?

Bravo!! Nicely Done!!!
