@Russelle Hataka paints are “OK”, I have used them every now and then but they won’t beat my two favourites Gunze or MrP. In this case I appreciated trusting someone else to get the colour right, avoiding mixing my own shade of pink!
Finally finished!

Canopy is rather thick and the “PR-bulges” come as separate parts that will need to be carefully glued using white glue or other suitable glue for clear parts. Considering it’s thickness, I think it looks OK anyway, especially if left open. Next time I’ll paint the frames before attaching the bulges, it was tricky masking over them!

If you wonder about the shading, this is what I used: Davy’s Grey is a fairly light, greenish, grey. My daughter knows her colour wheel so whenever I’m in doubt I ask her: shading is always done with the complementary colour from across the wheel which in this case is green. I feel tempted shadowing green with pink next time, just to test the theory…

Note cameras below the wing.

And this is my steadily growing collection of PR-Spitfires, the Ventura PR XI was build in 2000 I think…
This is a nice kit that I will build again, I have a double boxing of ordinary Mk Is. And I might get another one of these to do the same machine in it’s earlier, green, “camotint”-scheme.
Now officially finished and it has moved to The Collection!
