It would be nice if IBG changed the tyres. From what I can make out, the box art for the 1/72 Scammel SV/2S showed different tyres (Firestone?) but that kit still used the same tyres as shown here, which seem to be the same post war pattern used on other IBG kits.
There’s a few “experten” on another site who claim that the entire Scammel series are totally incorrect and “unbuildable” and not worth buying. Including the Bedford series. So…love 'em, or hate 'em! I would hope they are better than the 60 yr old Airfix equivalents.
