I wanted to put a pilot and observer in their respective seats, but I ran into a problem. I tried three different after-market figures, but none would fit into the seat. When I was building the seats they looked a bit narrow, this only proves it. These same brands fitted Tamiya, Academy and Trumpeter builds fine. Is there a general problem with the overall scale on this kit? If so I have not noticed it and the only other comment about scale on here says the engine exhausts are way too large. Other than that it seems to be going together quite well.
Haven’t heard a lot about the kit one way or another. I know for AHN kit ICM were of smaller height/width then Tamiya figures that were more “American” sized. Reskit has a seated figure set that “should” work.
is this pary of the dual kit box where you get a vietnam war era cobra gunship to go with the bronco?
I know of no bigger discrepancies regarding the ICM OV-10, but a s I never use pilot figures (just hate painting them) this with the seat did not come up - but I have not read it anywhere else.
Thanks Basco, I appreciate your time. I’m one of those ancients that think aircraft should fly.
No,mate. This is a stand alone Bronco. Thanks for your time.
Thank you for the heads up. I will see if I can find the Reskit stuff.
This is the set I am thinking of.

And you are quite right! Plus, no undercarriage painting…
