IDF NAMER AEV - Meng + White Oak Productions 1/35 2 builds

Hello all

after some years to follow all on Armorama, i’ts my first contribution to this Forum

I’m Damien from france, i am 49 years old, i live in Normandy, not so far from utah Beach

I build modelkits for 35 years (Airfix, matchbox and Heller aircrafts in the first years)

Now my first interest is for IDF armor subjects (i have 70/75 kits on the bench….)

In the last weeks i’m working on 2 Namer kits

AEV variants (Meng) with others details sets = White aok 3D parts (Thanks to Paul), EMP3D, Legend, Microcosmos, Hobbyboss, Quicktracks……)

Greay looking job.
You can remove the Nochri’s mount. Namers doesn’t use them.

First off, welcome to the site Damien! There are many knowledgeable experienced modelers on this site who will give you honest feedback on your models.

Your builds are very well done so far, can’t wait to see more!

Yes I’m aware of this. It was only trialed but eventually wasn’t used operatioanly.

Bienvenue Damien.

Your Namer looks great so far. If I’m correct you used the Hobby Boss Carpet system. Did you manage to build it without any issue ? When I built mine I found it tricky and especially when you tried to insert the “rockets”.

Merci beaucoup Olivier

The hobby boss carpet is not so difficult to build, but the side an internal plate are too thick and it’s difficult to put inside the rocket.

Some go well and others don’t fit in.

The LEGEND set is far better but not very easy to build
