Hello…I am wanting to but some storage on my circa 60’s M1 Sherman…there are no sets like in 1/35…closest would be Value Gears US and generic stowage…I would imagine that generic tarps would work…how about the below picture…would work it for a IDF tank?

I would think those painted appropriately would work for any armor.
mine is 1/16…that is 1/35…seems like no one has gotten around to making 1/16 Israeli stowage…(Value Gear are you listening?)…which sucks because I have a resin/ 3D printed M50 conversion from Sol for Andy’s Sherman on the way.
at least it has something…it really looks bare without anything.
Oh. My bad. Making your own seems like the best option. The biggest thing I’d do is that double rolled trap. Many IDF vehicles had them, including Centurions. They’re easy enough to make. Hell, if I can do it…
So these tarps…size wise…are they supposed to be big enough to cover the whole tank? What are the tarps used for? I do see them on a lot of IDF tanks…but I do not know how big to make them before rolling them up?
Here is a homemade roll on 1/35 M51. I have never seen one on the right side as the Legends set would have you put it. From all the photos I have seen, it is a stretchy material resembling/similar to burlap that can cover the entire tank. Check your references as not all M-1’s carried these rolls. Your rear storage looks great.

As Signcut says, they can cover the tank, but I’ve seen them stretched over to one side, acting as a sun shade for the crew. I have also seen them in at least two-tone camo. It’s hard to tell if there’s a third color because they’re rolled up.I sent Legend several photos of the tarp, along with other stowage photos, and told Lee it would make a great set. So they did it. Why they put the tarp on the right I have no idea, However, for 1/35 scale enthusiasts, with a little judicious grinding underneath, it’ll fit on the left just fine.
Ask him to make a set for IDF vehicles in 1/16th…just double the 1/35 set.
