Nice. Based on ICM’s earlier M1097A2 kits, this one should be really nice.

CAD shots of the new parts and the finished model are being shown by ICM.

New sprues.

It looks like it has a .50 cal with lots of ammo cans and a belt of ammo for the open gunner’s hatch. All four side doors open and an open rear hatch.

You still get all the parts in the previous M1097A2 version with the side panels, rear seat area floor and B pillar as well. So, lots of optional parts.

New decals too.

Finished kit.

Directions posted too.

It looks really nice and should be available soon.

Is this suitable for a generation kill HMMWV? Not really the most knowledagble when it comes to the platform

Probably, A2 versions began fielding in the late '90s to early 2000s. It depends on what the unit had and when they got them.

You’ll need the DWF intake and extended exhaust, just about every USMC HMMWV had them, and a gypsy rack on the rear tailgate with extra fuel/water cans and/or chow. First Recon was right next to my company in ad Diwyania in '03 before the division started retrograding to return to the States, let me see if I have any pictures that show their vehicles, some vehicles had different doors, like the ones in the 1046 by Tamiya.

These purport to be from 1st Recon Bn. during the time period you’re looking for, although they could be from the TV show.

I just got mine direct from Ukraine over the weekend. It looks really nice. The new parts are very detailed and will look great once built up. I am very happy with it.

Are there sizes differences between ICM M1025 and Tamiya M1025 ?
