I like this subject but there are some good kits of this out there, though I don’t know enough to know what flaws if any they have. I would probably buy this just to see what if anything they will do different.

Yes, I already have four 38’s myself.

Italeri, Tamiya, Dragon and Tristar/Hobby Boss? There’s a nice comparison review by Terry Ashley (Perth Military).

And Great Wall Hobby did a superior model of this gun, sadly now OOP.

I went and sort of read the PMMS comparison, which reminded me that in the past that I can barely remember, I’ve actually built all four in the review, and generally agree. Have not built the Great Wall. Now I’m looking forward to this one.

Are you sure you are not thinking of Great Wall Hobby Flak 43? I cannot find any record of them doing a flak 38. They used the Bronco Flakvierling 38 for their SWS, and the Flak 43 was their own, quite a good kit but pricey for such a small gun.

I stand corrected. Thank you. The Great Wall Hobby kit is a Flak 43. I have one and it is an outstanding kit.
