Indian Armor

With all the research iv been doing for my Indian T72M1 iv been wondering about all the gaudy paint schemes iv run across are they for parades and cerimonies and what would be the actual color or camo scheme be used in combat?

It turns out to be extremely interesting!
Are you talking about this

or this camouflage?

In my opinion (based on the Indian films I watched as a child), they should have this kind of camouflage.

PS Although these are Russian tanks, I could not find information in Russian that would show Indian tanks in combat situations with a high degree of reliability. Only one photo in the article from May 20 this year:
"The Indian military, which used its own armored vehicles in the recent military operation “Sindar”, equipped them with protective structures similar to the anti-drone grids installed on armored vehicles of the Russian military. Thus, canopies were installed on samples of Indian heavy and light armored vehicles to protect against ammunition drops from drones. Such samples of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles were spotted near Jammu and Kashmir. Specifically, these types of protection against an air threat aimed at attacking the least protected upper hemisphere were equipped with T-72 and BMP-2.

As an Indian army colonel explained in a conversation with journalists, armored vehicles with welded “barbecues” were used in a border military operation, countering the “violation of the agreement on the cessation of hostilities” by the armed forces of Pakistan. As a senior officer commented, the tanks and BMPs were fire on Pakistani military posts."

From reddit Indian Defense. Couldn’t find any specifically from Op Sindoor. One post specifically mentions the glossy parade camo and says the “boomers” like to see it.

Would it be safe to say over all something like modern russian green orva shade of something like olive drab?

Looks like the same (or very similar) mine rake used on the M1150 ABV.

Nothing quite like a “jingle tank”.
