Interesting camo

Interesting camo on an Italian M-113. Masking could be a challenge, though.

Its almost as thought they camouflaged it and forgot to take off the camo netting. Just a thought…

You just spray on the tan, green, and black camo as usual, then take a big texture roller with the leaf pattern, roll it in light green, and run it front-to-back across the vehicle…

Or they applied the light green with the camo net on it.

Looks like they used a camo netting as a stencil for the light green paint.

To my eyes, that looks like it would be very effective in a woodland setting.

My eyes get an impression of depth, like a 3D-effect

Actually, without my glasses, the applied design looks like lines of text, or graffiti. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

One of our ODAs in Afghanistan sprayed through camo netting with Krylon and got a similar effect, although not nearly as good as the photo.

It’s actually just the Italians going “right, those smart sods on Kitmaker think they’re so good. Let’s see them replicate this”.

The M113 in the first post is an Italian VCC-2 but the picture is from Ukraine…
